I started a rant about kink shaming a couple times and deleted it. I’m all calm now. *giggles* Seems I got it out of my system. There will always be people who choose to say ignorant and hurtful things about what they don’t understand. I steamed for a little bit and then opted to let her be ignorant and move on. Life’s too short to worry about what others say.
I just pulled my second loaf of banana bread out of the oven. Looks and smells amazing! I had about 8 overripe bananas in my freezer that I put to good use. Can’t wait to taste it! I think the aroma woke Daddy up from his long slumber. 😉 (It’s crazy delicious!)
We’ve started the process of shopping for a realtor. We interviewed a woman recommended by our lawyer yesterday. Not a good fit for us. That’s ok! It’s exactly why we’re interviewing. After a bit of brainstorming I remembered that a guy I knew socially a while back is a realtor. Called him last night and the call went smashingly. He’ll be at 2pm to look at the house and get us started down the path to selling our home. Hopefully Daddy likes him as much as I do.
About a month ago I started having hot flashes and night sweats. Ugh! Thankfully they’re sporadic. Seems like just about the time I forget about them I have a few days of them. Today’s an hot flash day. *sigh* Daddy laughs when I ask Him if it’s hot in here or just me as I’m dripping with sweat. He and the dogs are shivering half to death when I throw the doors open to cool off and/or keep the house near freezing so I can function. Yes, I’m one of those “middle aged” women wearing shorts in January.
Time to go tossle Daddy’s hair or some other little sweet nothingj before He heads back to bed.. 😉

Oh yes the hot flashes and night sweats. Yesterday I alarmed a co-worker and my supervisor because from neck up to top of my head I was scarlet. I was dying. Sweat beading the brow. However I will take hot flashes over night sweats any time. I would not even wish night sweats on my worst enemy. They are so gross. Need to start a Menopausal Group for all ages. For those who want to know what will come. For those who are going through it. For those who are finished it. They just want to hang out. Sorry ran away with my comment. Kinda like I talk. Oh yes. Almost done. My Saturday to work late but it only happens every blue moon or so. I have not worked late since Oct-Nov

Another stunningly beautiful day here. 🙂 Door open, sunny, birds chirping. Almost fooled into believing it’s spring for a moment. We’re fortunate to be in a seller’s market in my area.
