It’s been raining for almost a week which makes me want to curl up on the sofa with cocoa, movies and the puppies. I’ve done far too much of that today. Sigh. Not the worst thing in the world, but certainly not in alignment with my goals!

Life is really good right now. I’ve been getting my business up and running. The hardest part wasn’t building the office furniture, like I expected. lol It’s been getting my website up and going. Oh, it’s live and I’m getting positive feedback from those near and dear. The kind of honesty one hopes for. They’re telling me it looks professional and not that I’m making a total ass of myself! Great start, in my opinion. I’m creative, crafty, good with words… not with the bookkeeping and techy side of things. It’s going. I’m delighted it’s been as easy as it has, given the possibilities.

Daddy’s still loving His job despite His horrible schedule this week. Who decided to approve vacation requests for the entire staff at once is missing something in planning skills. It happened before He took over management and scheduling. Me thinks that’s part of the reason He is there!!! Long hours the next 2 weeks with one day off this week. He told me the joys of management when He took the job. lol I knew, but I don’t have to like it for Him.

Talk about fun changes! Daddy bought an awesome Cadillac from a guy in the neighborhood. He had been eyeballing it for almost a year when I finally insisted He stop and look at it, get the details. Next thing I know, we’ve bought a one-of-a-kind Caddy that brings comments and looks from just about anyone even remotely into cars. The seller has turned into a friend. We’re going to his birthday party this week. He’s in his late 70’s and has kind of adopted Daddy. Invited Him to get involved in the car clubs, events and all that jazz. I absolutely love it!!!!

Sunday is our next local munch. I’m looking forward to it. I’ve connected with a couple people outside and started developing friendships. Makes kink far more fun when you have a local community and people you can talk openly about your dynamic with… AND have vanilla interests in common with, too.

I’m still procrastinating on working on my website. lol At least I’m in my office with the computer on. Bye for now. Thanks for reading.
