The Beauty of Bondage

Few things catch my eye more than the intricate knots of bondage. It’s the artistic element, the intimacy in the act of tying, the loss of control and total trust required. Everything about it makes me flutter just a bit.

Shibari bondage was totally foreign to me until I had a date with a lovely Dom who had a passion for it. We didn’t engage in any kink, merely talk…. and he showed me bondage books. The photos were thrilling… as was sitting curled up in his arms feeling the electricity between us. I say a seed was planted. šŸ˜‰ The more photos I see and the more I learn, the more thrilled I am by this particular kinky artform.

Daddy and I talked about introducing bondage into our repertoire quite some time ago. We went down to our local kink shop and bought good quality red bondage rope, safety scissors and two books on how to get started. Once I read the books cover to cover all the materials have sat in their respective places untouched. Daddy is a creature of habit and slow to take on new things… even if they’re going to be really fun. After months of reminding and asking, I let it drop.

A few nights ago I was perusing Fet, which is becoming a common occurrence again, and saw a photo of a woman who had done some lovely self bondage. She is early in her attempts. She put the bug in me to go for it. Rather than wait for Daddy to do it with me, I’ll do it myself. šŸ™‚ I told Him last night what my plans are and He was eager to help. The one way I know of motivating Daddy is to just do it. *giggles* I think I’ll have to shoot Him a few pictures or have Him walk in on me before He fully gets in the swing of things, but He’ll do it.

Looking forward to my first attempts at learning to tie all the different knots and snap photos of me in pretty red rope. ā™„

  1. I bought rope books a number of years ago, but never really got into it. Mostly I suppose because I’m terrible at knots (I know, practice makes…perfect) but without a steady person to work with, play with etc, my rope sits unused. Tying myself isn’t really an option.

My girl on the other hand, she got bitten by the bug as well, and I gave her copies of the rope books I own. Too, I sent her a good amount of rope from a kink quality/friendly vendor and for a time she was going to town learning and tying others as well as doing self-ties. I haven’t heard anything from her about recent escapades, but perhaps in the coming months when travel is again possible, it will be revisted. Glad to know that you’re picking up your rope and keeping your scissors handy. It’ll be interesting to see what you get up to.

    1. Daddy was an Eagle Scout, so He knows knots. lol Perhaps sitting in front of the TV having Him teach me knots will motivate us to move forward together. šŸ˜‰

That’s awesome you’re girl likes to self-tie. Perhaps there is fun to be had in the voyeurism of watching and directing her??? Hmmmm… possibilities are endless, aren’t they?

      1. Possibilities are indeed endless. And yes, getting your Daddy involved with the nuts and bolts (or in this case the rope and knots) is a way to keep it fresh and interesting. Who knows what will transpire in the near future? Cheers.
