Birthday Week

Yep! i’m one of those who celebrates my birthday for at least a week. *giggles* If truth be told, i start getting excited way back in March or April. The little in me can’t resist the count down and almost daily reminders to Daddy (and anyone who will listen) that it’s almost my birthday. šŸ™‚ Jodie Day was Wednesday.

At 12:00 am June 10th, Daddy came over and snuggled and tickled me while singing me happy birthday. šŸ™‚ He woke me up in the morning the same way. And sang to me a few more times on the day of. *giggles*

48 on the outside, 15 on the inside ♄

i baked my birthday cake. YAY!!!! It was a gluten free yellow cake with maple, coconut and pineapple frosted with a lavender colored butter cream frosting i made while the cake was in the oven. Sooo good!!! my cakes are always super yummy, but i don’t frost them well so no pictures. *giggles* i can’t be good at everything!

It’s been my TV choices all week. Daddy even watched Beauty and the Beast with me!!! He seriously doesn’t like this movie, but it makes me happy so….

my most favoritest little movie evah!

We played hours of Monopoly another day. i beat the pants off Him!! *giggles* He kept landing on “Free Parking” and getting the big jackpots, but i still won! šŸ™‚ Yayyyy kitten!!!!

Daddy’s brother gave us a tabletop pool game for Christmas last year. It’s been sitting upstairs in the box since then waiting for Daddy to put it together. Out of sight, out of mind. šŸ™‚ i dragged it down stairs and plopped on the floor to start putting it together. Daddy wasn’t having that. *giggles* That’s a Daddy job! (See… i knew what i was doing.) Next think i know it’s 6 games later and Daddy still wants to play. šŸ™‚ Playing pool is one of our favorite date night destinations. A couple drinks at the bar and shooting pool. Only thing missing was the drinks…. well… and the bar. *hiding my face*

Best birthday present in forever!!! *giggles* i love to bake, so Daddy got me a 25 lb bag of Red Mill’s Gluten Free flour along with enough sugar and vanilla to keep me going for quite some time. Daddy’s friend said it’s the gift that keeps on giving. lol Yep!! Hours and hours of baking fun with Daddy getting lots of yummies.

Happy kitten with my flour!

Birthday week isn’t quite over…. *wink, wink*
