Nope, i’m not going to talk about Covid 19. So not gonna do it!!! 🙂 The new normal is having Daddy home and our blossoming patterns. When He first moved to California we were graced with the ability to have almost 2 full months together uninterrupted. It was a dire need at that time. We’d been online for about six months at that time with phone calls, a visit that seemed really far in the past though was only 6 weeks before that and the time to bond and establish U/us in real time was needed.

We fall into a routine together with ease. Mostly unspoken. Daddy and i fit like a hand in a glove. Now we find ourselves together 24/7 once again. ♥ Our routines are shifting. We’re doing new things together which we didn’t before. The time is so needed, just in a very different way.

i’d be lying if i didn’t say that we’ve been having way more sex and it’s been incredible!!! No worries, no stressors, no time constraints. We’ve been much more playful, too. In general. i’ve been seeing Daddy in a new light lately. Yayyy!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday i asked Him to take me to the hardware store to look at ideas for planning our spring/summer garden. i did say planning. *giggles* $200 later we came home with veggie starts (2 different types of tomatoes, cucumbers and basil), a curtain rod, 3 cans of Rustoleum for the patio furniture, stainless steel cleaning wipes and a new power drill set for Daddy. Bet you know what we did yesterday?!

my craft room is coming together beautifully. Daddy helped me finish painting a couple weeks ago. He hung curtains for me yesterday. There was a flurry of activity yesterday! So much fun!!! Much more for me to get done today, but for now i’m having a slow morning while Daddy sleeps in a bit more.

Have i ever mentioned that Daddy i don’t share a ton of common ground in TV and movies? 😀 Honestly, this is the one rough spot with Him home all the time. He likes old sitcoms and game shows from the 70s and 80s with Kount’s Customs, Pawn Stars and American Pickers. Most of it isn’t bad, just not my go to’s all the time. i tend to watch fantasy, sci fi, Disney and variety of other stuff. Can you see there’s not a ton of common ground?? We’ve always had a few shows we watch together. When He was home on days off Daddy ruled the tv. The rest of the time, i got to watch my stuff. Now? *giggles* We’re having to…. SHARE!!! i haven’t watched a single fantasy show about witches and magic since He’s been home. We’re finding a bit more common ground in documentaries about all sorts of things. This is the one area we bicker about. lol

As for TV, i have to give Daddy credit for watching The Princess and the Frog with me the other day. ♥ Most Disney stuff doesn’t excite Him, though there are those few which He’ll watch. me thinks we might have found another.

i’m off to start cooking a bit. Chocolate cupcakes with coconut buttercream frosting are on the menu today. Yeah!!
