This is the second of the “The Really You” series that Rory has begun.
The Really You!
Season 1 – Game 02
Rory writes: “What is or who is The Really You? No, really, as in really you? Who are you really? That’s basically what this game is about – who are you – who is – the really you!
Every week – just three questions about you to tell us!”
Do you hoard clutter or constantly de-clutter?
Do you enjoy cooking – if so what is your ‘special dish’ and if not ‘what is the dish you wish you could create?
What are we likely to find in your condiment cupboard?
Rory continues: “So there we go folks!
Three basic The Really You questions to kick the game off with …
… now it’s your turn to answer!”
Do you hoard clutter or constantly de-clutter? I can’t stand clutter!!! I routinely go through and throw away/donate tons of stuff in my home.
Do you enjoy cooking – if so what is your ‘special dish’ and if not ‘what is the dish you wish you could create? Cooking is among my favorite activities!! I’m a great cook!!! I don’t have a “special dish”. I make everything. A typical dinner is oven roasted pork chops in a sauce with homemade mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli or a pot roast with all the fixings. The two areas I enjoy the most are soups and combining flavors for rubs, salad dressings and sauces. I don’t make anything bland or dry unless I’m sick. lol One of my greatest pleasures in being a housewife is having the time to really cook.
What are we likely to find in your condiment cupboard? Because I really cook and love it, I have a fully stocked pantry at all times to make just about anything. I keep a fully stocked herb and spice pantry. I create my own spice blends, so there are plenty of those. I bake frequently, so you’ll always find the essentials for gluten free baking. Worcestershire Sauce, mayo, mustard (yellow and course ground), maple syrup, ketchup in extremely small amounts, BBQ sauce (though I prefer making my own). I can’t list the herbs and spices I have, because I have most of them. Granulated garlic and curry powder are my two favorites.
